A leading railway operator in Ramsgate is seeking an Engineering Systems Data Manager to enhance their Data Analytics function. You'll lead in delivering actionable intelligence, managing data models, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive operational efficiency. We are seeking an Engineering Systems Data Manager to join our team based from our Engineering depots.
2025 is the 200th anniversary of the first-ever passenger rail journey, so we’re celebrating our proud history and our bright future.
In this role, you will lead and support the Data Analytics function within Engineering Systems, to deliver smart, insight-driven solutions that support decision-making across our Fleet Maintenance function. You’ll shape and support the delivery of data strategies that transform complex information into clear, actionable intelligence that drives operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
Working closely with the Engineering Systems Manager, you’ll help to build the right capabilities, processes and tools to ensure our analytics function is future ready. From data discovery, through data integration, consolidation and modelling, to reporting and analysis, you’ll perform a broad range of activities that support Southern’s strategic goals and unlock the full potential of our data.
