Engineering Supervisor – Commercial Building Maintenance | City of London

Salary: £52,000

Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 8 am to 5 pm

GH Engage is partnered with a leading commercial maintenance provider who are seeking an Engineering Supervisor to be based in the City of London.

The successful applicant will have a demonstrable history in commercial building maintenance and facilities, as well as relevant Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Establish & manage Planned Preventative Maintenance Schedule
• Provide leadership and assistance to a team in delivering planned and reactive maintenance to the plant room and landlord services
• Supervision of permanent/temporary workers, and subcontractors
• Strong & effective communication with the client; answering client queries & complaints
• Computer literacy & timely communication

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in maintenance engineering roles (electrical/mechanical)
• Experience ensuring compliance; familiar with industry standards for health & safety, and excellence
• Supervisory or management experience
• Engineering qualifications; Electrical or Mechanical level 3 or equivalent
• Strong leadership and communication skills
