Location: Doncaster
Salary: £50,000 – £53,000 DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday, Days (45 hours/week)

About the Role

We’re seeking an Engineering Supervisor to lead a small team of Maintenance Engineers in a fast‑paced, heavy industrial setting. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of plant machinery, driving performance, and fostering a culture of development and accountability.

This is a hands‑on leadership role, you’ll be on the tools when needed, but also managing workflow, mentoring your team, and working closely with the Engineering Manager on strategic improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, support, and develop a team of Maintenance Engineers
  • Oversee reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Fault finding and diagnostics on mechanical and electrical systems
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the plant
  • Manage team workload and ensure optimal resource allocation
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager on project planning and execution
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and compliance
What We’re Looking For
  • Supervisory experience in food manufacturing or FMCG
  • Multi‑skilled in both electrical and mechanical maintenance
  • Proven experience in high‑volume or heavy industrial manufacturing
  • Strong leadership skills — able to motivate and guide a team
  • Excellent fault‑finding and problem‑solving abilities
  • Comfortable working under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
  • Engineering qualification (Level 3 or higher) required
