A leading education recruitment agency is seeking a full-time Design & Technology Teacher with a strong Engineering background to join a school in South Gloucestershire. The ideal candidate will hold UK QTS, have experience teaching Engineering within the curriculum, and be confident delivering practical lessons. A large secondary school on the outskirts of Bristol is looking for a full-time Design & Technology teacher with a strong Engineering background to join their department from January. The school is specifically looking for someone confident teaching Engineering within the DT curriculum, including:
You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, supporting students through practical and theory-based learning, and contributing to assessment, marking and departmental planning. The DT department is well resourced, with workshop spaces, specialist equipment and access to digital design tools to support high-quality engineering teaching.
