Tewkesbury (Commutable from: Gloucester, Cheltenham, Worcester, Stroud, Evesham, Cirencester, Malvern, Bromsgrove)

Are you an Engineering Team Leader looking to step up into a role with a clear route into the next level and long-term development? Do you want a position where you can lead from the front, mentor engineers, and be recognised for driving performance on a busy, automated site?

This is a permanent leadership position with a well-established FMCG manufacturing business, offering overtime, call-out rota payments, and ongoing training support to help you develop into a stronger, more senior engineering leader.

You’ll be joining a business that’s invested heavily into its site and machinery, they are a well-established company, yet remain a family business at heart, with a strong long-term outlook and the opportunity to progress for the right person.

In this role you’ll support the Engineering Manager, supervise and develop the engineering team, and lead fault-finding and planned maintenance across high-speed automated machinery on site.

This role suits a success-motivated engineer who wants progression and responsibility, enjoys leading others, and is keen to develop into the next step rather than staying purely hands-on long term.

The Role:

• Supervise, train and mentor engineers; support the Engineering Manager to deliver departmental goals
• Lead fault-finding, repairs, testing and PPM on high-speed automated machinery in an FMCG production environment

Shift pattern: Week 1 Mon-Sat 06:00-14:00, Week 2 Mon-Fri 13:45-21:45 + call-out rota approx. 1 week in 6

The Person:

• Electrically biased engineer with strong electrical fault-finding skills
