Overview

Engineering Services Administrator. Location: Bournemouth, BH8 8EH. Hours of work: 40. Contract Type: Permanent. We are seeking an Engineering Service Administrator to provide vital coordination and administrative support to our Integrated Engineering Solutions (IES) teams across the UK, while assisting with local operational needs at site level. This role is central to maintaining smooth service delivery, supporting compliance, and ensuring all statutory and HR documentation is accurately processed and managed. The successful candidate will work closely with operational teams and site leads, providing essential administrative support to maintain a high standard of Critical Environment & Technical Operations.

This is a varied and fast-moving role requiring excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. You will manage a wide range of tasks including statutory compliance documentation, payroll inputs, HR administration for starters, leavers and movers, CAFM reporting, purchase orders, contractor access coordination, and general administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain ownership and control of statutory compliance documentation, uploading to databases as required.
  • Complete online timesheets, process staff overtime, and address payroll queries.
  • Provide HR support, including holiday charts, training records, and processing new starters, leavers, movers, and change of personal/job details.
  • Produce weekly CAFM reports and liaise with site leads to ensure accurate tracking of activities.
  • Raise and track purchase orders and additional works orders, supporting subcontractor schedules and service visit documentation.
  • Assist with planning and coordination of site audits, compliance checks, and operational processes.
  • Support adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards, driving a zero-accident culture.
  • Develop strong working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure effective operational delivery.

  • Good level of IT literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel, and ability to work with various software systems.
