Job summary

Avara Foods in the Midlands is seeking an Engineering Resource Coordinator to join the Engineering Team at the Hollybank site near Scropton. The role focuses on monitoring and ordering engineering parts, managing stores, and maintaining the maintenance plan.

Working Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:00, you will liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth operation. You should be numerate, detail-oriented and proficient with Excel and Word, with good communication skills and the ability

Qualifications

• Accurate numeracy and attention to detail required.
• Strong communication skills with all levels including contractors.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word; ability to work independently and in a team.
• Prior experience in an Engineering environment would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and order Engineering parts and consumables to support the maintenance plan.
• Supervise Engineering stores, conduct periodic stock takes, and manage stock outflows.
• Raise Engineering orders, handle good receipting and purchase ledger queries.
• Set up new suppliers and raise service contracts.
• Gather Energy and Environmental data and assist with waste management and recycling.
• Produce end-of-period stock reports and assist with weekend plan administration.

The role is primarily office based with some requirements for factory-based stock takes and inspections.

As the Engineering Resource Coordinator, you’ll be working Monday – Friday 07:00 – 16:00.

What will you be doing as the Engineering Resource Coordinator at Avara?

As the Engineering Resource Coordinator you’ll monitor and order Engineering parts and consumables helping maintain the maintenance plan whilst gathering Energy and Environmental data.

What will your key responsibilities as the Engineering Resource Coordinator include?

• Being the supervisor for Engineering stores including periodic stock takes, booking out spares and ordering of stock.
• Raising Engineering orders including good receipting and purchase ledger queries.
• Setting up new suppliers and raising service contracts.
• Gathering Energy and Environmental data.
• Responsibility for waste management and recycling.
• Producing end of period stock reports.
• Assisting with weekend plan administration.

What you’ll need to be successful:
