Job summary

Glanbia is seeking an Engineering Performance & Reliability Manager for our Middlesbrough site. You will own the engineering planning process, drive maintenance excellence, and lead reliability improvement initiatives across the site within a hybrid working model.

You will coordinate with the Maintenance Manager, Shift Engineers and CI teams to optimise PMs, RCA actions and CMMS data quality, delivering measurable improvements in asset availability and performance.

Qualifications

• Engineering background within FMCG or manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of planned maintenance systems.
• Experience using CMMS platforms.
• Experience conducting Root Cause Analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence without direct authority.
• Lean Manufacturing experience.
• Continuous Improvement experience.
• Reliability Engineering knowledge.
• Experience facilitating improvement workshops.
• Knowledge of MTBF, MTTR and asset reliability metrics.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve the site engineering planning process.
• Develop robust weekly maintenance plans with the Maintenance Manager and Shift Engineers.
• Coordinate engineering activity to align resources with business priorities.
• Provide clear visibility of planned engineering work across the site.
• Support planning of preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, shutdown work and engineering improvement projects.
• Ensure engineering work is properly planned, prepared and resourced before execution.
• Monitor engineering backlog and drive completion of priority activities.
• Improve engineering handovers and communication between shifts.
