Job summary

Roundhouse Recruitment in Bristol is seeking a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join early in its ambitious engineering-focused team. You’ll receive intensive one-to-one training from the founder and start building a desk from day one.

You’ll develop relationships with engineering businesses, source and interview candidates, and aim to grow towards leadership roles. The role offers a base of £27,000–£30,000 plus uncapped commission and rapid progression.

Qualifications

• A genuine desire to build a successful career in sales, recruitment or business.
• Evidence of hard work, determination and persistence.
• Confidence communicating with people and a willingness to develop your sales skills.
• A competitive mindset and the motivation to achieve ambitious targets.
• The resilience to handle setbacks, learn from feedback and continuously improve.
• No prior recruitment or engineering experience required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with engineering businesses, identify recruitment opportunities and win new clients.
• Source, interview and build relationships with candidates across specialist engineering markets.
• Match suitable candidates with vacancies, managing the recruitment process from initial introduction to placement.
• Build your own specialist recruitment desk, developing a strong understanding of your market and clients.
• Work towards performance targets while developing the commercial skills required to become a successful recruitment consultant.
