Job summary

WH Scott Group is seeking a proactive Project Planner to develop, maintain and monitor integrated project schedules across multiple engineering projects. You will work with Project Managers, engineering teams, suppliers and clients to ensure realistic, achievable programmes aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and maintaining integrated project schedules within complex project environments.
• Strong understanding of network planning and schedule analysis techniques.
• Experience producing resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules.
• Ability to analyse schedule performance and provide meaningful planning insights.
• Experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update integrated project schedules across multiple projects.
• Create resource-loaded and cost-loaded project programmes where required.
• Monitor project progress and analyse schedule performance against baseline plans.
• Produce planning reports, forecasts and schedule performance metrics.
• Identify critical path activities, project risks and programme impacts.
• Support project teams with planning best practice and schedule management.
• Coordinate with internal departments, subcontractors and external stakeholders to ensure programme alignment.
• Participate in project reviews, progress meetings and risk workshops.
• Support change management processes by assessing the schedule impact of project variations.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project controls and planning processes.
