Job description

Opportunity to join an established, profitable food manufacturer going through a period of sustained growth and investment. You'll be a key part of the engineering projects team in a role offering plenty of variety and challenge as the site delivers its five-year strategic plan.

About the Role:

Part of a wider group, this is flagship site, where new equipment, technology, and processes are trialled being rolled out.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering a range of engineering projects, from small scale upgrades through to major installations.
  • Overseeing budgets, financial controls, reporting, documentation, training and final project handover.
  • Coordinating internal teams and managing external contractors and suppliers to ensure successful delivery.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely, ensuring compliance with all HSE standards and practices.
About You:
  • Proven experience delivering engineering projects, ideally in manufacturing, with budgets in excess of £1m.
  • Degree qualified in an engineering discipline (preferred) with a recognised project management qualification (APM, PRINCE2, PMP).
  • Strong CDM knowledge, and proficiency in CAD and planning tools such as MS Project.
  • Strong communication skills, able to collaborate with and influence key stakeholders.
