As an Engineering Project Manager, you will work with key stakeholders to understand and improve the supply chains capability, enabling us to heighten our objective of getting the right quality parts available for use in the shortest time and cost effectively.

You will take ownership of and lead engineering work packages to define and deliver a new composite manufacturing facility that utilises the latest technology, equipment and systems to deliver optimised processes.

Key Accountabilities
  • Ensure that requirements from all perspectives (shop floor/leaders/supporting functions) are sought, understood and are considered alongside the overarching supply chain objectives and strategic goals.
  • Define, agree and document detailed requirements which clearly translate to measurable success criteria.
  • Identify and engage with key stakeholders appropriately throughout, maintaining frequent communication on project progress and involvement in key decisions.
  • Use value stream mapping and other relevant lean tools to analyse our current state processes, identify waste and improvement opportunities to define the ideal state to be implemented.
  • Clearly define and communicate layout designs as they evolve to inform and update the building and service requirements accordingly.
  • Identify, assess, specify, justify, procure and manage the installation and commissioning of all required process plant, equipment and IT hardware and software.
  • Plan and deliver all required operator, engineering and maintenance training.
  • When proven document the sign-off of processes, equipment and facility areas against agreed success criteria.
  • Provide support to manufacturing operations during the handover period.
  • Produce all required documentation and processes to satisfy all relevant safety, regulatory, process and ongoing service and maintenance requirements.

  • Installation, commissioning and acceptance testing of manufacturing equipment
  • Creating and delivering training packages, maintenance schedules and producing engineering documentation

  • Project Management – Project Charters, RACI, Requirements Mapping, Critical Path Analysis, Work Breakdown Structures and Risk Management
