A leading water services provider in the UK seeks an Engineering Project Manager to oversee engineering projects across operational sites. This role includes managing multiple live projects, ensuring compliance with asset integrity standards, and reporting on project metrics. Ideal candidates will have a background in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, with experience in project management and health and safety standards. The position offers an annual salary of up to £60,000, plus a car allowance and excellent benefits.
This role seeks a self‑motivated candidate to manage engineering projects end‑to‑end across Thames Water’s operational sites and estate. There will be a requirement to align with TW’s Asset Integrity standards in a reactive operational environment, ensuring the swift return to service (RTS) or Return to Operation (RTO) of failed assets. The objective is to minimise financial impact, operational disruption, process inefficiencies, and reputational risk to TW.
This may involve implementing rapid, short‑term, or interim solutions ahead of a permanent resolution. Responsibilities will include compiling and reporting key data such as cost of failure, RTO/RTS timelines, and lessons learned to inform future improvements and strategic decision‑making.
Location – Your base location will be either Latton WTW or Farmoor WTW. This role will require you to travel to multiple sites, depending on the project you are working on. You will be required to have a full driving licence, access to your own vehicle and insurance to cover work travel. You will receive a car allowance paid monthly.
Working Hours – Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week.
