Singer Vehicle Design in the UK is seeking an experienced Engineering Package Team Manager to lead the Virtual Series and Hard Point definition processes, guiding package reviews and ensuring robust vehicle integration.

You will manage a team of Package Leaders, work closely with Design, Manufacturing, and Engineering Functions, and contribute hands-on CATIA V5 modeling to deliver cost-aware, high-quality programmes.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in a similar role.
• Strong CAD, GD&T, and vehicle assembly knowledge.
• Experience with CATIA V5 and PLM systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Package Leaders for Virtual Series and hardpoint processes.
• Oversee architecture integration and package reviews; provide guidance on solutions.
• Be an hands-on engineer; generate CATIA V5 models to guide studio and engineering.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Design, Manufacturing, Quality and Programs.
• Provide regular technical reporting on status, issues, and plans to leadership.
• Plan and develop the Engineering Package Team resources to meet program goals.
• Lead Virtual Series and Hard Points development and ensure timely delivery.
