Job summary

AB InBev is seeking an Electrical Technician to perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance across utilities and high-speed packaging lines. You will work in a multi-skilled team, contribute to reliability and safety, and support cost-efficient operations.

Applicants should have a recognised electrical qualification and PLC experience with Siemens S7 or Allen-Bradley systems, plus a mindset aligned with continuous improvement and food safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Essential: Recognised apprenticeship, NVQ3 or equivalent electrical qualification
  • Essential: ONC or equivalent
  • Desirable: HNC or equivalent
  • Desirable: Experience in FMCG environment
  • Desirable: IE E 17th Edition
  • Experience with Siemens or Allen-Bradley PLCs

Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on high-speed packaging lines and utilities equipment.
  • Record maintenance activities in SAP.
  • Liaise with OEMs for spares and service.
  • Adhere to health, safety and hygiene policies and PDCA.
  • Support continuous improvements and plant reliability.

The main purpose of this position is to carry out planned and reactive maintenance in support of a high-speed packaging line, production or utilities areas. The role is vital for the efficiency, quality and cost of the plant. An Electrical Technician will look to improve the reliability and safety of the plant and production processes.This job description and the job title Electrical Technician is not necessarily descriptive of all duties and does not restrict flexibility. You may be required, from time to time, to carry out tasks in addition to or instead of your normal duties, either for the brewery or for AB InBev, provided that they are reasonable and within your capabilities.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Working for the Utilities department you will work in a team consisting of multi skilled Technicians.
