Do you want to be part of a growing energy team? Can you lead on offshore wind projects? Are you an experienced technical engineer? Then, this could be the next adventure in your career.

Create Solutions that will enable a better tomorrow

To provide our clients with technical expertise, we are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to join us. Working on offshore wind foundation design projects, you’ll work with our project manager to ensure that projects are delivered on time, to the client's technical specification and satisfaction, and within the project budget constraints. While at the same time developing client and stakeholder relationships and offering advice and guidance to the project team.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Engineering Management with special focus on FEED and detailed design of Offshore Wind Foundations
  • Supporting technical inputs to our tenders for selected prospects
  • Providing technical leadership with respect to risk management, quality assurance, document control and cost control for the projects
  • Raising and responding to technical queries on the project
  • Leading project teams in the technical execution of the projects
  • Managing stakeholders, suppliers and partners
  • Leading project discipline leads and design teams
  • Ensuring state-of-the-art solutions meeting customer needs
  • Developing cohesive multi-location project teams
  • Ensuring your projects are delivered in line with COWI's global best practice

Your skills. Our team. Together we design the future.

Like us, you believe that leadership success comes from setting a clear and meaningful direction for your team and supporting them in taking ownership of their work. You always delegate responsibility and ensure an open and safe dialogue, and you coach your people to achieve their aspirations through constructive, fact-based feedback. Attracting and nurturing a diverse group of high-potential team members is at the top of your agenda, as is creating an inclusive, caring and trusting culture in your team.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree or PhD in a related engineering discipline
  • Extensive experience in the technical delivery of Offshore Wind Foundations projects
  • Experience with design of all common foundation types for offshore wind turbines and substations
  • Familiarity with health and safety and environmental requirements for foundation design projects
  • Knowledge of all technical elements of foundation design
  • Effective communication skills in English (oral and written)
  • A record of delivering projects to time, cost, and quality standards across all stages of project lifecycle
