Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the design and development of the structure for a nuclear fuel manufacture organisation. You will support delivery, guide engineering teams, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across the programme.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive delivery of design for a new nuclear facility, and uphold high standards of engineering excellence in a safety-critical environment.

  • Ensure that efficient solutions are reached that comply with all legislative requirements.

  • Promote a pragmatic blend of innovative approaches and tried-and-tested methods to aid in the delivery of a facility that is demonstrably safe.
  • Maintain a constant focus on safety at all times, ensuring that all engineering solutions prioritise safety and compliance. Proven experience in engineering management, preferably in the nuclear industry or a related safety critical field.
  • Strong knowledge of legislative requirements and compliance standards in the nuclear sector.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
