Job summary

IMI Worthing (Applied Kilovolts) is a leader in high stability, low noise high voltage power supplies, serving mass spectrometry, medical and industrial sectors. We are seeking an Engineering Manager (Electronics) to lead the Worthing site and shape how engineering is delivered.

You will oversee NPI, sustaining engineering, and people leadership, partnering with the Technical Strategy Manager to align technology with business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or mentoring engineers, with a strong focus on people and delivery.
• Own end-to-end NPI execution from requirements capture through design, verification and validation, industrialisation and product launch.
• Solid electronic engineering experience and the credibility to lead technical discussions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the engineering team, building a strong, accountable and collaborative culture.
• Own engineering delivery, including NPI, sustaining engineering and workload prioritisation, working closely with Operations and Commercial teams.
• Put structure and discipline around planning, governance and execution.
• Partner with the Technical Strategy Manager to translate technology direction into clear, executable engineering plans.
