Multiple roles available

We’re reshaping our Digital, Technology and Data function for the future, creating new opportunities, strengthening our capability, and building clearer, more resilient ways of working so we can deliver even better services for our Co‑op, our colleagues, members and customers.

What you’ll do

  • Collaborate and build meaningful working relationships with Product Managers, Delivery Managers, Principal Engineers and third‑party partners to support with engineering activities
  • Support engineering recruitment activities including interviews, assessments, hiring decisions and onboarding
What you’ll bring

We’re committed to making our roles as accessible as possible, so we only ask for the minimum criteria. We’re open to applications from people with a range of backgrounds, as long as you have the following skills, we’d love to hear from you:

  • Experience managing, coaching or mentoring a team
  • Experience supporting the development of large, multi-disciplinary software teams to help them to perform at their best
  • Experience working as a software/platform/application engineer or in quality assurance
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive, collaborative relationships with teams and colleagues across the business as well as with external partners

We’re open to flexible working arrangements, including condensed hours, shorter working days, or a 4‑day week.

You’ll also benefit from hybrid working, with occasional travel (around once a month) to our Manchester office for team days, meetings, and events.
