Are you an Engineering Manager with proven experience of working within a ceramic or FMCG environment. Do you have a passion to drive innovation as well as high standards of safety and compliance? Scope of the Role

• Lead and manage the Engineering function within a busy manufacturing business
• Ensuring the delivery of strategic engineering initiatives, continuous improvement and operational excellence
• This role is pivotal in driving innovation and maintaining high standards of safety and compliance
• Support the companies growth and sustainability goals

This role will be split into 4 pillars that will include and not be limited to:

• Strategic leadership - Lead capital investment projects and infrastructure upgrades
• Team Management - Lead, mentor and develop the engineering team
• Operational Excellence - Monitor and improve engineering KPI's
• Compliance and Safety - ensure all engineering activities comply with health safety and environmental regulations

Suitable Candidate

• Engineering Manager / Head of Engineering with proven experience of the above
• Managed a team of Engineers within a Ceramic or FMCG environment
• Degree qualified is advantageous
• Chartered Engineer is advantageous
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Commercial awareness

• Ability to influence cross functional teams
