We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and manage the engineering function at our Chorley site. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the engineering team ensuring compliance with QHSE policies and procedures.
• Oversee planned preventative maintenance corrective works and safe systems of work.
• Plan and coordinate resources for maintenance repairs and installations.
• Manage approved suppliers and ensure timely procurement of parts and machinery.
• Deliver training on new equipment and maintain accurate safety records.
• Monitor KPIs budgets and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support retention of site accreditations.

Skills & Experience

• Proven management experience of industrial maintenance.
• Held similar positions within manufacturing / process industries.
• Strong knowledge of operational maintenance boilers / steam systems and WECO management.
• Degree / HND / HNC or equivalent in an engineering discipline or time-served apprenticeship.
• Experience of implementing continuous improvement programmes.
