Role Overview

We are looking for an Engineering Maintenance Planner to join a dynamic team in Essex. This newly created role focuses on transitioning from reactive to proactive maintenance strategies. The ideal candidate will have experience working with CMMS systems, have a solid understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems, and be skilled in planning and scheduling maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute maintenance schedules, prioritising tasks to ensure optimal machine and plant performance.
  • Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure resources are available for planned and reactive maintenance activities.
  • Maintain and update CMMS systems, ensuring accurate work orders and performance records.
  • Manage spare parts and materials, liaising with suppliers and contractors to ensure effective service delivery.
Required Skills & Experience

Qualifications: HNC/HND in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.

  • Proven experience with maintenance planning, including the use of CMMS systems (e.g., SAP). Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills to liaise with various departments and suppliers.

£55,000 - £60,000 per annum
