University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust in Hanley is recruiting a full-time Estates Engineering Maintenance Assistant (Band 2) at Royal Stoke Hospital. The role is permanent, 37.5 hours per week, with an 8% recruitment and retention premium.

You will perform maintenance and repairs across hospital facilities and work within a large team to ensure high service levels and support other tradesmen in the Estates Department.

At present, University Hospitals of North Midlands is unable to offer visa sponsorship for Band 2 to Band 4 roles, as these positions do not meet the minimum salary and skill thresholds required under UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulations.

The University of North Midlands is looking to recruit an Estates Engineering Maintenance Assistant at Royal Stoke Hospital. This is following an initial training period with the Retained Estates Team at the Royal Stoke University Hospital .

You will be keen and enthusiastic working within a large team to assist in the provision of a high level of service to the hospital. Your duties will include carrying out maintenance and repairs to the hospital.

Main duties of the job

The candidate will ideally have experience of engineering maintenance repairs and services. It's essential that you are an effective team worker, with the ability to provide support to other tradesmen within the Estates Department.
