Mechanical Engineering Lecturer (Part-time, 2 days per week)

Croydon

£35 - £45 per hour + Excellent pension + 36 Days Holiday + Strong CPD support + other benefits and discounts.

In this role you will be teaching and guiding students across a range of mechanical and manufacturing engineering courses. You will deliver both practical and theoretical sessions covering subjects such as machining, manufacturing processes, and engineering mathematics. Teaching will take place across BTEC, T-Level, and City & Guilds qualifications from Level 1 to Level 3.

The Role:
  • Teaching mechanical and manufacturing engineering across Levels 1-3
  • Delivering BTEC, T-Level, and City & Guilds programmes
  • Mixture of theory and practical (engineering maths, machining, manufacturing)
  • Part-time: 2 full days per week (14 hours), fixed timetable (Wednesday + 1 other)
The Person:
  • Proven industry experience in mechanical/manufacturing engineering
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification (HNC or higher desirable)
  • Minimum Level 3 teaching qualification
  • Previous teaching experience strongly preferred
