Dex is partnering with a fast-growing company building a CRM for the AI era. You’ll join an engineering team responsible for a new product area, balancing hands-on development with leadership of a small team.

The role focuses on scalable backend or frontend work, with ownership from conception to delivery and ongoing iteration, while shaping architecture to support AI-native features.

Competenze

• Deep expertise in a modern typed language for backend or frontend (Go, TS/Node.js, Python, Rust, C++ or similar) or React frontend.
• Experience as a Tech Lead or Staff Engineer driving multi-engineer projects and technical direction.
• Hands-on experience designing secure, scalable backend systems on cloud platforms (GCP or AWS).
• Willingness to take line-management responsibilities: hiring, growing, and owning engineer progression.
• Ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly and influence decisions across product and design.

The role

This company is building the CRM for the AI era. They're focused on real-time infrastructure and AI-native architecture, with a frontend their engineers genuinely love. Backed by leading investors, they're growing rapidly and have significant funding.

You’ll join a rapidly scaling engineering team, taking ownership of a new product area. This role is 80% hands-on engineering, 20% leadership, designed for Staff Engineers or Tech Leads ready to build and mentor a small team of 3-5 direct reports for the first time. It's a path into management that rewards staying deeply technical, not a pure people-management track.

The work
