Engineering Lead (Python / TypeScript) £125,000 + Extensive Package, Hybrid - London

My Leading Investment Management client are looking to attract an Engineering Lead (Python / Typescript) to join the team.

Responsibilities

• Drive the development and modernisation of transaction monitoring and fraud detection systems.
• Lead a cross-functional engineering team focused on building saleable, secure, and intelligent solutions to detect and prevent fraud, money laundering, and financial crime across global platforms.
• Direct line management of 5 engineers.

Requirements

• Strong full-stack development skills on Python and PySpark, Typescript (ideally also Node.JS / React.JS) and AWS (or other cloud provider).
• Experience as a Technical Lead or Senior Engineer.
• Line management experience.

Salary: up to £125k basic + Bonus up to 40% + Extensive Package.

This is a full-time role, Hybrid – 3 days a week in London.
