Key responsibilities in the Engineering Geologist role
  • Conducting Phase 1 desk studies
  • Undertaking site walkovers and ground investigation activities
  • Preparing factual and interpretive reports
  • Performing groundwater and gas monitoring, soil sampling and borehole logging
  • Providing guidance and support to junior colleagues
  • Communicating with clients and contributing to project delivery
Requirements for the Engineering Geologost position

To be considered, you should have experience within the engineering geology or geotechnical sector, hold a degree in geology, geoscience, earth sciences, geotechnical engineering or a closely related discipline, and possess a full, clean UK driving licence. You will also need to be based in or near Chester and hold full UK working rights.
