An expanding, well established geotechnical and geo-environmental consultancy based in Lodnon (with multiple offices across the UK) are seeking a driven and experienced Engineering Geologist to join their expanding team. With nearly 50 years of expertise and countless awards demonstrating their reputation in the industry, this consultancy is fully equipped to support a geotechnical engineer through a variety of projects – developing their skills and career in a supportive environment.

The Engineering Geologist selected will be provided with:

This Engineering Geologist position requires focussed work on a variety of projects. You’ll be carrying out risk assessments, borehole logging, supervising ground investigations, groundwater and gas monitoring, soil sampling and writing factual and interpretative reports. Client liaison and training junior team members will also be essential.

The successful Engineering Geologist will:
  • Have a degree in geotechnical or civil engineering, geology, geoscience, environmental engineering or a similar/relevant subject.
  • Have experience as a geotechnical/geo-environmental engineer.
  • Have exceptional communication skills, ideally with experience leading a team and/or supervising junior members.
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence.
  • Be commutable to and around the London area.
  • Have a full right to work in the UK.
