The Role

As a Engineering Director at Capco youll lead high-performing teams to deliver complex impactful technology solutions across financial services. Youll combine deep technical knowledge with strong leadership guiding engineers to create scalable innovative and client-focused products. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends delivery mentorship and technical excellence to shape the next generation of digital platforms in banking and finance.

What Youll Do

• Lead mentor and inspire cross-functional engineering teams to deliver exceptional software solutions.
• Apply and champion engineering best practices with a focus on quality performance and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to design and deliver transformative technology initiatives.
• Drive innovation through experimentation leveraging emerging technologies and modern engineering approaches.
• Contribute to Capcos growing engineering community - sharing knowledge promoting standards and fostering collaboration.

What Were Looking For

• Proven experience leading engineering teams and managing end-to-end software delivery within Financial Services organisations.
• Strong technical background in one or more core stacks (e.g. or similar) with hands-on coding experience.
• Deep understanding of Cloud technologies and modern DevOps practices.
• Demonstrated success in building scalable systems and delivering complex high-value applications.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments driving efficiency and collaboration.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts for all audiences.

• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams including Designers Testers and Product Owners.
• Background in managing multiple delivery teams across diverse projects or geographies.
