Job summary

Trades Workforce Solutions is seeking an Engineering Manager (Design) for a global leader in materials processing, based in either Campsie or Omagh. This role involves leading the engineering function, managing New Product Development, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering, at least 5 years of experience, strong CAD skills, and a proven track record in leadership. The position offers a competitive salary of £60,000–£65,000 with up to a 20% annual bonus and opportunities for career development and international travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in design engineering.
• Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams.
• Background in machinery, aggregates, or mineral washing equipment desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Engineering Department including workload planning and resource allocation.
• Manage New Product Development projects from concept through to completion.
• Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and product redesign initiatives.
