ALTEN Ltd in Belfast is seeking an Engineering Delivery Manager to lead complex defence‑aerospace engineering programmes. You will own multidisciplinary activities and drive delivery from concept to validation, ensuring on-time, on-budget, high-quality outcomes in a regulated environment.

You will provide technical leadership, manage risks and stakeholders, and collaborate with customers, partners and internal teams. Security clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in engineering delivery or project leadership within defence, aerospace or safety-critical environments.
• Strong background managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and complex system development.
• Experience delivering solutions across the full systems or engineering lifecycle (requirements to V&V).
• Ability to manage technical risk, cost and schedule within structured programme environments.
• Strong stakeholder management across customers, suppliers and internal teams.

Job Description

Lead the delivery of complex engineering programmes supporting advanced defence systems and technologies. Join ALTEN Ltd as an Engineering Delivery Manager, where you'll take ownership of multidisciplinary engineering activities, driving delivery across the full lifecycle from concept through to validation and acceptance.

You'll act as the focal point for engineering leadership, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards, while working closely with customers, partners and internal teams in a highly regulated environment.

Location: Belfast On-site: On Site presence is required. Seniority: Manager / Principal Level Security Clearance: Candidates must be willing and eligible to obtain SC clearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Background in complex system integration or large-scale programmes
• Familiarity with regulated or safety-critical standards and environments
