Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe is seeking an experienced Engineering Coordinator for our Hyde site to support engineering compliance, contractor management, maintenance planning and site safety.

You'll collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Facilities and external contractors to ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently and to legal and company standards. This is a site-based, full-time role with visibility across the function. Experience with CMMS, RAMS and safety audits is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in Engineering Coordination or similar within manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Knowledge of Permit to Work systems, contractor management and engineering compliance.
• Experience using CMMS or maintenance management systems.
• Strong organisational, reporting and administration skills.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Confident communicator with the ability to challenge unsafe behaviours constructively.

Responsibilities

• Manage Permit to Work systems, including high-risk activities such as Hot Works, LOTO and Working at Height.
• Coordinate contractor onboarding, inductions, compliance and performance.
• Maintain CMMS systems, asset records and planned preventative maintenance schedules.
• Support engineering compliance, statutory inspections and audit readiness.
• Monitor Health & Safety standards, conduct workplace inspections and support incident investigations.
• Manage engineering documentation, RAMS, COSHH records, certifications and compliance reporting.
• Produce engineering KPI and compliance reports for site leadership.

• Experience using CMMS or maintenance management systems.
• Strong organisational, reporting, and administration skills.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, risk assessments, and safe systems of work.
• Confident communicator with the ability to challenge unsafe behaviours constructively.

Desirable

• NEBOSH, IOSH, or similar qualification.
• Experience with SAP, Maximo, Agility, Pirana, or similar CMMS systems.
• Knowledge of asbestos management, refrigeration, or ammonia compliance.
