About the Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Compliance Manager to oversee risk, governance and statutory compliance across a large corporate property and facilities portfolio. You will play a vital role in ensuring all operations comply with legal, regulatory, contractual and company requirements, driving best practice and continuous improvement throughout the organisation. This is a key position within a high-profile account, offering exposure to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage compliance and risk management processes across the regional account.
  • Develop and maintain registers of all relevant policies, procedures, legislation and standards.
  • Oversee statutory inspections, audits and certifications to ensure full legal compliance.
  • Provide professional advice and guidance to operational and management teams on compliance and governance matters.
  • Deliver audit programmes.
  • Standardise compliance procedures.
  • Support incident investigations and ensure lessons learned are embedded.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, promoting a strong culture of safety, risk awareness and compliance excellence.
About You

You will be a proactive, organised and confident professional with a strong understanding of compliance, audit, and risk management principles. You take ownership of your work, communicate effectively at all levels and can influence teams to maintain high standards.

Essential skills and experience
  • 3-5 years' experience in compliance, audit, governance or risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of UK statutory and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Experience within a facilities management, property, corporate or financial services environment preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven leadership capability, including managing or supporting remote teams.
