Engineering Buyer

Would suit a proven Engineering Buyer, Procurement Specialist, Supply Chain Specialist, or Technical Buyer with experience within an engineering or manufacturing business.

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods, materials, and services to meet operational needs.

Salary & Benefits:

  • C£38,000 to £40,000 basic + additional bonuses
  • 36 days annual leave (including bank holidays), with options to purchase extra days
  • 7.5% pension
  • WFH and flexible working hours
  • Paid overtime

The role would suit candidates who:

  • Have proven experience delivering deals in a manufacturing environment
  • Are strategic, results-oriented, and able to meet project deadlines
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
  • Possess strong negotiation, communication, and influencing skills
  • Can add value, reduce costs, and implement improvements
  • Have supplier management and development experience

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders and suppliers to procure goods, materials, components, and services within cost, quality, and delivery targets
  • Developing strategies to improve operational efficiency and support continuous improvement
  • Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings
  • Assessing quotations and tenders from potential suppliers

This role is based near Warwick, Heathcote, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, and surrounding areas.
