Job summary

Pearson is seeking an Apprenticeship Coach for the Defence School of Transport, Leconfield. The role focuses on coaching and supporting Royal Logistic Corps apprentices on the Engineering Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship, helping them develop technical and behavioural competencies and preparing for Gateway and End Point Assessment.

The role requires driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally, with on-site duties at DST Leconfield and collaboration with Defence partners.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching, mentoring or training others.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage learner caseloads.

Responsibilities

• Deliver coaching and apprenticeship support aligned to the Engineering Operative Level 2 Standard.
• Conduct learner reviews, workplace observations and progress discussions.
• Support apprentices in developing technical knowledge, practical skills and professional behaviours.
• Monitor learner progress and identify support needs or barriers to achievement.
• Maintain accurate learner records and compliance documentation.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback to support learner development.
