You will carry out basic repairs, perform preventative maintenance, read drawings, use hand and power tools, and keep accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Carry out basic repairs and maintenance on mechanical equipment such as pumps, valves, and pipes

• Use hand and power tools (e.g., wrenches, drills, grinders) and test equipment
• Understand engineering science and technology principles
• Prioritise safety and identify workplace hazards
• Use basic computer software (Word, Excel)
• Read and interpret engineering and technical drawings
