Job description
Overview

We are looking for an Engineer / Transportation Officer in the Network Asset Maintenance team within the Capital Delivery Service.

The successful applicant will inspect the highway and publicly maintained access routes on a daily basis, provide repair and site information, respond to public enquiries and record data on the Council's information management system. Working with the maintenance team and contractor to ensure repairs are carried out in a timely manner and to the required standards, in accordance with the Council's Highway Safety Inspection and Repair policy and plan.

You would also be required to provide evidence in court to assist with the Council's defence of highway related claims.
