A leading engineering inspections firm in the UK is hiring an Engineer Surveyor to examine mechanical equipment across South East England. The ideal candidate will have a level 3 qualification in mechanical engineering and experience with Power Presses and hazardous machinery maintenance. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and qualified Mechanical Engineer with a background in Power Press and/or hazardous machinery maintenance to join Allianz Engineering, a division of one of the largest insurers and financial services companies in the world.
As a newly recruited Engineer Surveyor at Allianz Engineering, you will automatically be enrolled onto our unrivalled induction‑training programme to support your personal development.
You will carry out the thorough examination of a wide range of mechanical equipment from 1000 Ton presses through to guillotines and injection moulding machinery. You will also be required to undertake a non‑destructive training course, maintain your competence and complete crack detection of press components.
Pay: £48,213 per year. (Inclusive of London allowance)
Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.
