Entry Level RUST Developer

As a Software Engineer at Magnite, you will be part of a close-knit, agile team, contributing to the technology that fuels trillions of transactions every day. This role is focused on growth, learning, and real-world impact.

Responsibilities

• Develop and Innovate: Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of features for our core ad platform, learning from senior engineers to write clean, scalable, and high-performance code in Rust and Go.

• Collaborate and Solve: Partner with your team of engineers and product managers to solve complex technical challenges in large distributed systems.

• Learn and Grow: Gain exposure to the full software development lifecycle, from design and testing to integration and support, building a comprehensive understanding of how our systems work end-to-end.

• Take Ownership: Actively participate in code reviews to both give and receive constructive feedback, taking ownership of your learning and contributing to our culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of professional or internship experience in software development
• A degree in Computer Science or a related field
• A solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming principles
• Foundational knowledge or interest in a systems programming language like C++, Go, or Rust
• A natural curiosity and a passion for learning new technologies
• A collaborative spirit and strong communication skills
• A proactive and responsible approach to your work and a willingness to learn from feedback
