Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intercom, Access Control, CCTV and Auto Door Engineer to join our teams covering the Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds, Stoke & Newcastle area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing intercom systems, access control systems, CCTV and automated doors in residential and commercial properties. They will work closely with clients, project managers, and other team members to ensure the highest quality of work and customer satisfaction.

We rely on our Engineers to provide a professional service, delivering schedules on time and handling technical queries raised by clients. Covering 3 of our depots you’ll be part of a team where everyone is putting in the effort to offer brilliant customer service and to get the job done.

Responsibilities
  • Install and configure intercom systems, access control systems, CCTV and automated doors in residential and commercial properties.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on intercom systems, access control systems, CCTV and automated doors.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with intercom systems, access control systems, CCTV and automated doors.
  • Work with project managers and clients to develop customised solutions that meet their specific needs.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members as needed.
  • Keep up‑to‑date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of intercom systems, access control systems, and automated doors.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of relevant tools and equipment.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients, project managers, and other team members.
  • Attention to detail and ability to deliver high‑quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Valid UK driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
  • Pass a DBS & security checks.
