Job summary

Gleeson Nottingham is seeking an Engineer to support the Regional Technical team and field operations. You will assist feasibility studies, prepare site viability reports, and coordinate external consultants to ensure regulatory compliance and timely delivery.

The role requires strong technical design skills, familiarity with highways and sewer adoption, and experience within the house-building industry. You will collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to achieve successful

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent in civil engineering or technical design.
  • Experience with house building industry and NHBC standards.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical/engineering support to land/development team during feasibility studies.
  • Lead in preparation of site viability reports in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate external consultants and manage fees, scope and timescales.
  • Ensure design and technical compliance with Building Regs, British Standards and NHBC requirements.
  • Assist in on-site management company setup and related legal aspects.
  • Prepare KPI updates and status reports for the Technical function.
  • Coordinate utilities design, quotes and agreements; support site infrastructure procurement.
  • Assist on Adoption process and liaise with internal departments and partners.
