Tara Professional Recruitment Ltd is seeking a dedicated PE Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Telford for a full-time supply placement from after October half term through Christmas. The role starts on 2nd November 2026 and requires delivering engaging PE lessons across key stage 3/4 with a focus on sport, health, and student wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS or an equivalent qualification, possess a degree in Physical Education or related subject, and have experience

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in Physical Education, Sports Science or a related subject.
• Experience teaching PE in a secondary school.
• Ability to deliver engaging practical PE lessons.
• Knowledge of health and safety in practical sessions.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across the relevant secondary age groups.
• Teach a range of sports and physical activities to suit different abilities.
• Promote teamwork, resilience, sportsmanship and healthy lifestyles.
• Maintain effective behaviour management and safe participation in practical lessons.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support development.
• Contribute to a positive department environment and encourage participation in physical activity.
