A local government authority in West Bridgford is seeking an Engagement Officer to lead the administration of complaints and Freedom of Information requests. The role involves extensive engagement with communities and stakeholders, and supporting various council teams. With a focus on excellent communication and analytical skills, the successful candidate will work approximately 2 days a week from the office. Rushcliffe Borough Council provides high quality services to more than 110,000 residents in a borough made up of vibrant towns and stunning villages. Our Council offices are located in West Bridgford, Nottingham in a purpose-built office and leisure centre facility, Rushcliffe Arena.
Leading on the administration of the Council's complaints, Freedom of Information (FOI) requests and wider engagement and consultation activity, you will be expected to uphold and enhance its reputation, responding to residents' and customers' queries. You will be working at the heart of the organisation supporting all departments with requests whilst being responsible for external engagement with communities and stakeholders and internally with Council teams. There is an expectation that you will work from our offices at Rushcliffe Arena on average 2 days a week.
