Financial Conduct Authority seeks an Enforcement Investigator to support investigation teams within Enforcement & Market Oversight and Retail and Regulatory Investigations. This role involves handling complex case work, drafting statements and notices, and coordinating across offices in Edinburgh, Leeds, and London.
The successful candidate will hold a valid SRA/Bar qualification or equivalent, with experience analysing large information sets and presenting findings.

Enforcement & Market Oversight (EMO) is responsible for the FCA’s responsibilities for market monitoring, delivery of the functions of the UK Listing Authority (UKLA) and the investigation and prosecution of misconduct using the whole spectrum of criminal, civil and administrative sanctions and remedies against firms and individuals.
Retail and Regulatory Investigations (RRI) investigates potential misconduct by regulated firms and individuals working within those firms, involved in retail banking, stockbroking, asset management, mortgage broking and lending, insurance intermediation, financial advice, consumer credit and payment services. We take action against firms that sell unsuitable products or services to consumers, mishandle client money and assets, or have governance and systemic issues. We also investigate financial crime matters including fraud and misconduct related to AML systems and controls.
