Job summary

NSL, part of Marston Holdings Ltd, is hiring an HGV Driver in Glasgow to enforce vehicle tax compliance and remove untaxed vehicles on behalf of the DVLA. The role involves training on high-tech equipment, vehicle recoveries, and strict adherence to legislation.

You will drive Class 2 HGV, operate daily schedules, and work outdoors with shifts. Training and development opportunities are provided, along with staff benefits and a competitive pay package.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence Class 2 HGV.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-motivated and customer focused.
• Willingness to work shifts and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily briefings and collect removal information for the day.
• Ensure vehicle and equipment are serviceable and report faults.
• Carry out safety checks on lifting/towing equipment and tachograph.
• Confirm recovery vehicle can operate safely and inform supervisor of concerns.
• Perform vehicle removals, photograph vehicles, and file condition reports.
• Transport vehicles to the pound and coordinate with office for next tasks.
• Collaborate with Police, DVLA, and other agencies as required.
• Be flexible with hours and locations and perform other roles if needed.
