Connect Resourcing are partnering with a leading Energy Trading business to recruit an Energy Trading Analyst in London. The role requires experience in power or gas markets and a track record of delivering accurate market and fundamental analysis to trading teams.

You should be proficient in Python programming and modelling, with a strong analytical background and excellent numerical/data management and communication skills. MSc or PhD level candidates with energy-related research are welcome.

Job description

Leading Energy Trading business is now seeking to hire an Energy Trading Analyst to join their London based team. You MUST have experience of either the power, or gas markets and be used to providing accurate market and fundamental analysis to trading teams. Python programming and modelling skills are also essential.

You will have strong analytical background, numerical and data management skills alongside strong communication skills. Candidates will ideally have 1-2 years energy trading experience or relevant experience from working with a consulting firm. The role can be tailored to suit an MSc or PhD level candidates who have carried out energy related research.
