Gentoo Group Ltd is hiring a Stock Condition & Energy Surveyor in Sunderland to inspect homes, perform energy assessments and inform future investments. You will work with the Asset Investment team to prioritise upgrades like kitchens and bathrooms while ensuring homes meet Decent Homes standards.

You will need a UK driving licence, a DEA qualification (or progress toward one), and strong data interpretation skills. The role supports hybrid working and requires CPD to stay current.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work-related travel.
• A Level 3 DEA qualification or willingness to work towards.
• Knowledge of stock condition surveying in social housing, Decent Homes Standard and energy legislation.
• Experience carrying out stock condition surveys, HHSRS assessments and energy inspections.

Responsabilités

• Carry out stock condition surveys and energy assessments across Gentoo properties.
• Identify and record HHSRS hazards and areas below the Decent Homes Standard.
• Support continuous improvement by sharing knowledge with the team.
• Maintain CPD to stay aligned with industry best practice.
