Secondment Overview

secondment offers the chance to deepen your knowledge of energy regulation and policy while sharpening your analytical skills in a dynamic and fast paced environment. This is a 9 month contract and will be a hybrid role based in the UK, with flexibility to work from home and occasional visits to our London office or other UK locations as needed.

Who You Are
  • A relevant degree or recognised equivalent qualification
  • Knowledge of UK electricity market regulations and trading
  • Experience in renewable energy sector
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex regulatory documents and frameworks
What You'll Be Doing
  • Supporting the Energy Regulation manager with audits and investigations from regulators and system operators
  • Analysing the impact of current and future market rules on the business
  • Managing regulatory compliance through implementing robust Regulatory Compliance Frameworks
  • Handling market registration for new renewable assets
  • Advising on changes from the Government's Review of Electricity Market Arrangements (P462 etc)
  • Providing clear and succinct policy and regulation updates to internal business units
