West Northamptonshire Council is seeking a senior energy leader to steer the Council's Energy team, delivering energy and sustainability initiatives across West Northamptonshire. You will provide strategic leadership, ensuring services are delivered proactively and collaboratively on behalf of the Council and partner organisations, including Northamptonshire Children's Trust. Working closely with stakeholders, you will oversee the delivery of the team's strategic work programme, creating a high-performing environment that supports innovation, partnership working and the achievement of programme objectives.
A key aspect of the role will be monitoring, reviewing and developing strategies and associated action plans, ensuring they remain effective, relevant and aligned with the Council's priorities. You will be responsible for tracking progress against delivery targets and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
