Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe operation and maintenance of the Energy Centre and all associated equipment/services.

  • Maintain engineering workshops to GMP or 5S derived standards.
  • Resolve breakdown work to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Prioritise jobs with Production colleagues to support brewery operations.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role plays a key part in our success journey and you will be involved in the following:

Role Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safe operation and maintenance of the Energy Centre (EC) and all associated equipment/services.
  • Ensure that all site policies are adhered to, including Health & Safety through relevant SOPs, SSWs, ESIP’s near miss processes and risk assessments. Be involved in creating and updating relevant documents to support working safely, covering Legislative, Quality, Food Safety and Environmental procedures.
  • Ensure engineering workshops or work areas are maintained to a clean and ordered manner (in line with any GMP or 5S derived standards).
  • Resolve relevant breakdown work as it arises to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Energy Centre (EC) and all associated equipment/services.
  • In conjunction with Production colleagues, prioritise jobs and time to support the brewery operation.
Experience and Key Attributes
  • Boiler operation and maintenance experience desirable, but not essential.
  • Refrigeration plant operation and maintenance experience desirable, but not essential.
  • Compressed Air plant operation and maintenance experience desirable, but not essential.
  • Reverse Osmosis plant operation and maintenance experience desirable, but not essential.
  • Understanding of ‘right first time’ principles.
  • Candidates will be qualified to a minimum NVQ Level 3 and possess an HNC (both in a relevant Engineering discipline), or equivalent.
  • Multi-disciplined with a time-served apprenticeship background in a manufacturing engineering environment.
  • Current UK Working Rights.
